Unibet, part of the Kindred Group, is announced today as the official betting partner for the Investec Derby Festival. This forms a three-year (2017-2019) deal between the bookmaker and Epsom Downs Racecourse.

On the first weekend of June (Friday 2-Saturday 3) Epsom Downs Racecourse will welcome many thousands of racegoers to witness two days of top-class flat racing, attracting some of the best thoroughbred racehorses in Europe. The Investec Derby (Saturday 3 June), renowned as the greatest flat race in the world, is the ultimate test of three-year-old thoroughbreds and this year boasts a record minimum total prize fund of £1.5m. Unibet estimates that there will in excess of  £60m wagered across the industry on this year’s Investec Derby, while the 2017’s renewal will see more people betting via their mobile phone than ever before.
