Hall of Fame trainer Steve Asmussen appears to have found a sprinter to replaced retired champion Mitole. His latest speedster, Volatile, took the $250,000 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1) July 25 at Saratoga Race Course in frontrunning fashion.
