Lee Davy brings you a round up of World Championship of Online Poker events #11-20, including a victory for Patrick “pads1161” Leonard and a third title for the Russian player Ti0373.
The 2015 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) consists of 70-events, and PokerStars have put up $45m in guarantees. Last week we brought you an update of the first 10-events, and this week we continue in the same vein as we cover events #11-20.
The biggest story of the week has to be the third WCOOP title for Ti0373. The online wizard from Russia captured two WCOOP titles back in 2012 (both in No-Limit Hold’em), and picked up a third in Event #12 $700 No-Limit Draw Championships.
118 entrants created a prize pool of $78,470, making it one of the smaller events of the series, and Ti0373 walked away with the top prize of $20,402.23 after beating Canada’s KaptianKush in heads-up action. The final table featured two other high profile names: Dzmitry ‘Colisea’ Urbanovich finished third and Vladimir ‘GVOZDIKA55’ Shchemelev finished sixth.
