Danish Online Poker Gets Open Face Chinese Games Courtesy of TonyBet Poker

TonyBet Poker has become the first online poker room to launch an Open Face Chinese product in Denmark, and also have plans to host live events in the near future.

Open Face Chinese Poker (OFC). It’s not a game that Elon Musk would spend any time developing if he was an online poker magnate. But he’s not. He’s the Rocket Man.

The reason Musk wouldn’t spend anytime nurturing this little baby is because it’s a game with finite outcomes. Artificial intelligence (AI) architecture is gathering pace like the little shuttles that speed across the Playa, before 70,000 people show up swallowing psychedelic drugs like smarties and swinging wobbly bits.

None of that has stopped TonyBet Poker from continuing its crusade to be the leading intelligence when it comes to the online form of OFC poker. It prides itself on the notion that it is the world’s largest OFC poker site, and the stage light under which it swelters is moving into Denmark.

The Best Slot Licences You’ll Probably Never See

This is a guest contribution by David Newstead finds TV shows and films fascinating – they are the only other from of media entertainment that can pull him away from his beloved online slots – which he regularly reviews at www.slotschoice.com. If you would like to submit a contribution please contact Bill Beatty for submission details. Thank you.

Many online casinos now feature slots that are based on recent film releases. Just as Hollywood has often enshrined the events of Sin City on the silver screen, game developers are equally keen to take successful film and TV franchises and turn them into the spinning reels of online slot games. What films and TV shows would we most like to see features in new slots from today’s game production houses?

In recent times we have seen a number of slot games that are based on some of the biggest selling films and TV shows. If you look at Playtech, a popular online casino software provider, they’ve been producing games that tie in with the Marvel film range – such as X-Men, The Avengers and Iron Man that come complete with graphics straight from the cinematic productions. This developer has also produced games based on The Mummy, King Kong and even HBO’s hugely successful Sopranos series.

However, for every hit slot based on a film, there is also one that the industry would rather forget. Take for instance Microgaming’s short lived Lord of the Rings, a title based on the Peter Jackson blockbuster film series. This was an online slot machine that was pulled out of online casinos, due to an unfortunate lawsuit between Warner Bros and Harper Collins, the book publishers employed by the Tolkien estate.

Wynn threatens to sue Mayor Walsh for defamation

Wynn Resorts is threatening to sue Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh for defamation unless he apologizes for the “false statements and untrue innuendo” contained in subpoenas and other documents recently filed as part of the city’s lawsuit against the state gambling commission. “Apparently, you have conducted yourselves with reckless disregard for the truth because you somehow feel your actions are immune from accountability,” wrote Wynn’s lawyer, Barry B. Langberg, to Walsh and the city’s two main lawyers.

WSOP Main Event Day 1A Review: William Kakon Leads Lowly Turn Out

Lee Davy gives you a breakdown of the main news stories emanating from the first day of the greatest tournament in the world: The $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event.

The numbers are in and they are on the low side.

741 players entered Day 1A of the $10,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. It’s the lowest Day 1A field for…to be honest I stopped looking after I reached 2009. Please forgive me.

The mathematicians will have you believe that we are still on course to land somewhere in the region of the 6,683 that we hit last year, but I think we will fall short of that number by a few hundred. Just a gut feeling, but I must warn you that my gut isn’t very big.

WSOP Day #40 Review: Quinn Do Wins the DC Championships; Matros and Jaka in the Frame for the LUCKY SEVENS Bracelet

Lee Davy reaches into the pit of the 40th day of the World Series of Poker and pulls out the dregs of the final two remaining events, including victory in the $10,000 Dealers Choice Championships, for Quinn Do, and news on the battle between Matt Matros and Faraz Jaka in the LUCKY SEVENS event.

The party is nearly over. Two more preliminary events remain at the 46th Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) – here’s the lowdown on both.

Quinn Do is the winner of the inaugural $10,000 Dealers Choice (DC) Championships. The Vietnamese born LA resident, defeated a compact and bijou field of 108 entrants. 12 people shared the million-dollar prize pool, and Do bagged $319,792 of it.

It was Do’s second gold bracelet. His first came a decade ago. The death of Pope John Paul II saw 4 million people travel to the Vatican to mourn him, everyone thought Prince Charles was a little sloshed when he married Camilla Parker Bowles, and Do was beating a field of 373 entrants on his way to victory in a $2,500 Limit Hold’em event.
