Neds enhances player props offering with Digital Sports Tech partnership

Popular player performance markets to differentiate GVC brand’s product portfolio

Wednesday 6th March 2019 – Digital Sports Tech (DST), the industry-leading, specialist provider of player props betting markets, has launched its Props Data Feed service with Neds, the GVC Holdings brand, in a deal which has enabled the Australian operator to significantly broaden its offering within the fastest-growing segment in sports betting.

An integration of DST’s Props Data Feed, which is powered by its industry-leading props platform and pricing engine, has allowed Neds to exponentially scale its offering and end up with the most extensive player props portfolio in the Australian market.

DST’s Props Data Feed, which provides up to 900 pre-match and 100 in-play player markets per game, expands Neds’ props coverage across all major US sports (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL), including NCAA college football and basketball, as well all the top tier European football leagues and Australian Rules Football.

72-year-old former dentist turns $220 satellite into $294,290 WSOPC win

A septuagenarian has parlayed a $220 satellite into a $294,290 payday after the Ukrainian, Elik Vodovoz, defeated a 1,050-entrant field to win the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event in Horseshoe Hammond.

“What’s up Doc?”

72-years ago, Bugs Bunny was born, as was Elik Vodovoz.

The former became a cartoon carrot munching icon, and the latter has taken down the $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event at the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) in Horseshoe Hammond.

Kiriopoulos Wins WPT Fallsview; WPTDS to host two more Rivers Casino events

Two snippets from the World Poker Tour including Demo Kiripoulos winning the WPT Fallsview Main Event, and Chris Torina and the team at WPT DeepStacks returning to the Rivers Casino for two more events during 2019.

One of the problems with hosting a poker tournament on the cusp of Niagara Falls is the slight chance you might throw yourself over the edge.

You have to wonder if that’s how Andrew Pantling is feeling after losing a commanding chip lead at the final table of the CAD 5,000 WPT Fallsview Poker Classic bowing out in third place.

Playing CAD 5,000 buy-in events is a little like offering the Queen of England tea and toast for Pantling – after all, he competed and finished sixth in the 2016 Big One for One Drop – but after ploughing through a record 602-entrants, the businessman would have wanted to have gone all the way.

Esports Affiliates – Creating affordable data-led content

This is a guest contribution by Nick Pateman, co-founder of SickOdds.com. If you would like to submit a contribution please contact Bill Beatty for submission details. Thank you.

Data in esports is programmatic by nature. That is, the data is available directly from the game itself. As a result, data is more affordable and more available than most affiliates think, particularly those familiar with traditional sports data and the costs and contracts that ride alongside.

Take the popular last man standing esport, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), for example. The game’s developers, Bluehole, launched an official free-to-use public API in mid-2018 which grants access to microscopic details about a match or player’s stats. This data can be drilled down into the finest of detail, going as far as revealing the distance a bullet has travelled before it met its target or the total seconds a player has survived a game. This data is all available in real-time, for free, to anyone with the programming know-how to capitalize.

PUBG’s API is just one example among many, including several community-led API initiatives. Esports affiliates have a unique opportunity to use this data in myriad ways, enhancing the user experience and value of their platform well beyond their rivals.

Triton Poker Series update: Wins for Bonomo, Tang and Soyza

The first three of the Triton Poker Series events in Jeju, South Korea are in the past with Justin Bonomo, Devan Tang and Michael Soyza spending some time on the winner’s podium.

Perfect.

Donald and Kim couldn’t reach an agreement in Vietnam, and now satellite images show that North Korea’s plans to dismantle a key missile test facility seem to be on the back burner.

619 km away, blissfully unaware of the potential end of the world, poker players with deep pockets assemble in Jeju, South Korea to play poker in the Triton Poker Series.

Wednesday NBA odds: LeBron, Lakers host Nuggets

LeBron James has played in eight straight NBA Finals and hasn’t missed the postseason since his first two seasons in the league with the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, it’s looking more and more likely that LeBron’s first season with the Lakers will end on April 9 against Portland.

ESPN’s Basketball Power Index gives the Lakers less than a one percent chance of reaching the playoffs. That number will shrink should Los Angeles lose at home to the Denver Nuggets in Wednesday’s marquee NBA game. There was some talk that the Lakers might add 10-time All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony (a buddy of LeBron’s) for the final six weeks or so of the season, but that has been put on hold with the team’s playoff chances so remote.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, are battling the Golden State Warriors for the top seed in the Western Conference. Denver and the Lakers split two early-season meetings, each winning at home. This is the finale between them as Los Angeles looks for its first season series win over the Nuggets since the 2011-12 season. The home team is on an eight-game cover streak in the series.
