Texas A&M University, Winning Streak Sports Announce New Partnership

Winning Streak Sports, the industry leader in the sales and marketing of the vintage, retro-trend, dynasty style banners, pennants and related fandom, today announced a first-ever partnership with Texas A&M University to create, sell and distribute the 125th anniversary Texas A&M heritage banner exclusively on the Aggies platform.

“We are always seeking ways to enhance fan experiences and generate incremental revenue for athletics. This program accomplishes both objectives” said Mike Wright, Texas A&M Director of Public Relations and Strategic Communications. “The value of our 125th anniversary of Aggies football provided the perfect launching point, and we are looking forward to expanding the offering to our fans as the year progresses.”

“We could not be happier to bring forward this new business model with Texas A&M and their legions of fans,” said Eric Bartley, Director of Sales and Retail Analytics at Winning Streak Sports. “Our award-winning heritage banner and the exclusive opening of the Texas A&M intellectual property vault will create a new revenue stream for a premium line, all of which benefits the Aggies directly, which is rare in the licensed property world. This new incremental revenue opportunity for the school athletic programs in conjunction with our existing licensing relationship will be a growing model, and there is no better way to start than with the 125th Anniversary of Texas A&M football and the legacy of the 12th Man.”

Fans can see this first part of a Texas A&M collection exclusively through the site 12thmanbanners.com. New pieces will be added throughout the year including customizable “Class Of” banners allowing Texas A&M Former Students to commemorate their graduation year making all products truly collectible and personal at the same time. The program will celebrate 125 Years of Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football, the spirit and tradition of Aggieland and further build pride in the school’s legendary 12th Man. All proceeds go directly to Texas A&M.
