National Lacrosse League And BetMGM Extend And Expand Sports Betting Partnership

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced an extension and expansion of its partnership with BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator, as an Official Sports Betting partner of the NLL. The two companies have extended their partnership agreement for an additional year, with greater investment and a focus on innovation.

As part of the agreement, BetMGM and the NLL will work together to provide odds for regular season and post-season NLL games in the 2021-22 season. In addition to receiving exposure through the NLL’s expanded broadcast partnership with ESPN and ESPN+, BetMGM will have significant in-arena presence in NLL venues. BetMGM also will be fully integrated into the league’s social media and digital activities. The partnership will be activated through organic broadcast integrations, redefining the way sports betting is supported through league partnerships.

BetMGM Announces Content Partnership with Bill Burr and All Things Comedy

BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming company, announced today a content partnership with comedian Bill Burr and All Things Comedy, the leading comedy podcast network. BetMGM’s sportsbook data and promotional offers will be integrated into the All Things Comedy-produced podcasts, “Anything Better” hosted by Bill Burr and Paul Virzi, as well as into episodes of Burr’s “Monday Morning Podcast” and YouTube channel.

“You gotta have some juice on the game, otherwise what are we doing? Sitting outside eating hot dogs?” said Burr.

Burr is a top comedic voice, achieving success in TV and film as well as on stage. The comedian’s animated Netflix series F Is For Family joins Burr with actors Laura Dern, Justin Long and Sam Rockwell and is scheduled to premiere its fifth and final season in late 2021.

Burr starred opposite Pete Davidson and Marisa Tomei in the Judd Apatow film, The King of Staten Island, and stars as Mayfeld in The Mandalorian on Disney Plus. He also was just seen in a guest role on the hit FX on Hulu series, Reservation Dogs. In September 2019, he released his sixth hour-long comedy special, Bill Burr: Paper Tiger, which was nominated for a GRAMMY Award, was recorded at London’s Royal Albert Hall and streams on Netflix.

GVC Holdings Announced as First Official Partner of PlayPause, an Innovative Multi-State Responsible Gaming Tool

GVC Holdings, the global sports betting and gaming group to be re-named Entain, today announced a new partnership with Conscious Gaming, becoming the first official partner of PlayPause, a new multi-state responsible gambling tool which will operate across state lines in the United States.  PlayPause will launch with BetMGM, GVC’s joint venture in the U.S. with MGM Resorts. 

PlayPause marks GVC’s first initiative in the U.S. as part of its new Sustainability Charter, which was unveiled on Nov. 12 and includes GVC donating $132 million (£100 million) over the next five years to support communities and help raise standards in responsible gaming around the world.  . 

The latest move adds to existing work by GVC already underway in the U.S around responsible gaming. These include a multi-year research program into addictive behaviours with Harvard, and a collaboration with EPIC, a leading independent gambling harm minimisation consultancy. GVC is also part of the US National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) President’s Circle.  

PlayPause is available via Conscious Gaming, a new non-profit organization established by GeoComply, a global leader in geolocation compliance technology. This partnership will enhance GVC and BetMGM’s ability to continue to lead the way in player protection across the US.

PlayPause adds further features to GVC’s leading player protection measures, including:

  • Self-exclusion protection as players move from state to state, rather than being limited to the state in which they are typically based.
  • Adding additional data on players who have already self-excluded in one state but need to be recognized and protected to play in another jurisdiction.
  • Added efficiency through eliminating the silos associated with maintaining numerous separate state-operated self-exclusion databases.

Broncos, BetMGM Agree To Multi-Year Sports Betting Partnership

The Denver Broncos and BetMGM, a market-leading sports betting and gaming platform from ROAR Digital, LLC – the joint venture between MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) and GVC Holdings (LSE: GVC), announced today that they have entered into a multi-year agreement.

As an official sports betting partner of the Broncos, BetMGM and MGM Resorts will provide premium fan experiences, including a new BetMGM Lounge at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, VIP travel packages, and benefits through MGM Resorts’ loyalty program, M life Rewards. The strategic partnership also includes a free-to-play mobile game, digital marketing assets, and in-stadium promotions and signage.

BetMGM Launches Pro Football $2,000 Draft Contest

With the NFL Draft days away, marking just about the only live sports-related event going on these days, all eyes will be on the virtual selections by the 32 franchises beginning Thursday night.

BetMGM is making it a little more interesting, launching the free-to-play $2,000 Pro Football Draft Contest, a series of 20 questions predicting certain outcomes of the draft, and the player who guesses the most questions correctly will win a grand prize of $2,000 cash. FanHub Creates New Multisport Mobile Picks and Props Game For Buffalo Wild Wings

Certain days will see the addition of a Blazin’ Bonus Question that offers users a massive amount of points if they correctly pick the underdog compared to the favorite. Yahoo Sports and BetMGM Announce Exclusive Partnership
