The standard provides regulators, suppliers, and operators with additional clarity and best practices surrounding interactive gaming systems. GLI-19 V3.0 is available for download now at gaminglabs.com/gli-standards. GLI-19 V3.0 accomplishes several goals, including:
Providing better clarity between technical requirements, which would be evaluated in the lab, and operational controls and procedures, which would be evaluated on-site post system install.
Aligning GLI-19 requirements with overlapping requirements contained in other technical standards. For example, alignment to game requirements within GLI-11 and reporting requirements within GLI-33 where possible.

It’s been just over a year since Rhi Burns joined Zimpler as CCO — now she picks up co- founder Johan Friis’ position as manager over the Sales Department and his seat in the Lead Team. St. John’s, Antigua – Thursday, July 9, 2020: Local contractor Vernon Challenger of Challenger’s Enterprises Ltd. has been awarded the contract for the first phase of the Wa’omoni Cottages, Barbuda Hurricane relief project. The project is being funded by the Calvin Ayre Foundation, in partnership with The Prince’s Foundation.
The two Foundations announced the partnership in January, 2020, with CAF significantly contributing US$1M to the initiative, intended to provide resilient homes for families left homeless as a result of the devastation wrought by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the partners on Wednesday, May 20 at Government House, to move the Barbuda housing relief initiative to the next stage.

Ade Repcenko, CEO of Spinola Gaming: The lottery sector traditionally operates through an extensive retail network, but had been taking a slow creep towards digital solutions over the past few years. Some lottery companies were exploring options to become more digitally focused in order to reach new global audiences and give their players the opportunity to purchase tickets on demand, wherever they may be. But this digital transformation was not being adopted as rapidly as other sectors, with some huge names in lottery shooting down any notion that lotteries should move online, and others such as some states in the U.S. not able to go online due to legal frameworks.
Covid-19 removed all player access to lottery’s established retail networks and forced companies to find digital solutions fast in order to find new ways of reaching their players, or risk not reaching them at all. Many were those who managed to make the switch, with others being forced to temporarily close and cease operations until restrictions were lifted.
